WOOOOW, I should really listern to when my sister speaks more on music artists,(lool). When my sister played this tune ‘Lettin Go’ by ‘Janelle Monáe’. I personally didn’t pay attention when my sis was bustin it everyday on the system.

To be honest she did tell me to watch out for this new artist, and I was like ‘YEAH YEAH, WOTEVAA’.A year later, I hearing this new sensation for myself again.And unno what,’I LOVE IT’. It’s great to hear and she music being transformed into a diffrent movement infront of your eyes.Especially when this new performer has by influenced by alternative indie, soul futuristic, afropunk, and rock into one person. Miss Janelle is the oppisite of Andre 3000 from outkast.

HER NAME IS ‘Janelle Monáe’

Janelle Monáe is an American alternative, soul futuristic, and rock performer and singer. She is currently signed to Bad Boy Records.

Originally from Kansas City, Kansas, Monáe was first featured on the Purple Ribbon All-Star’s Compilation Got Purp? Volume 2 in 2005. Her song “Lettin’ Go,” from this album became a cult hit and a fan favorite. Her next major feature was on OutKast’s movie soundtrack for Idlewild, where she is featured on the songs “Call The Law” and “In Your Dreams.” She was also featured in the video for the single “Morris Brown,” with Big Boi and Scar.

This women is difinately one for the future of music:
